HMI New Interface
Tecnimusa trusted bigD for the design of the HMI interface of its new closing machine. The goal was to develop an 18.5” touch screen that would integrate with the redesign of the machine, ensuring an intuitive and efficient user experience.
Design
The main challenge has been to map the different parts of the machine that can be controlled by the user. In this way, we ensure coherence between the system and the machine, making it easier for operators to familiarize themselves with the system and helping them to prevent errors.
System and Structure
For the new design it was key to develop a system according to the type of information that would be displayed on the screen.
Central area: Main space where most of the interaction with the user takes place.
Side columns: One reserved for displaying the machine status and another as a submenu for secondary actions.
This organization allows for intuitive and efficient navigation, ensuring that operators quickly access the necessary information and controls.
