Modular and Sustainable Design for Next-Generation Topography

In collaboration with 2freedom, we designed 2fImaging, a compact topographic scanner that redefines professional geographic data capture. The challenge was to combine precision, connectivity, and robustness in a portable and sustainable format optimized for field work.

At bigD, we approached the project with a focus on efficiency and usability, developing a modular architecture that allows components to be updated or replaced without changing the entire unit. Its lightweight construction and magnetic coupling system ensure agile and secure handling, reducing operator effort.

The result is a versatile and responsible measuring device that combines advanced technology, ergonomics, and sustainable design to support surveyors and engineers in increasingly demanding environments.
