AMR stacker for industrial logistics
ABB asked us for the industrial design of their new AMR stacker for the transport of pallets and containers, ensuring an efficient integration in demanding industrial environments. In addition, we collaborated in the definition of colors, materials and finishes (CMF) to align it with the visual identity of the brand.
The result is a compact, safe and highly maneuverable design, optimized for connectivity and intuitive operator interaction.
The challenge
ABB needed an efficient and compact AMR stacker for transporting pallets and containers in industrial environments. The design had to ensure maneuverability, safety and connectivity, aligned with the brand’s visual identity.
The solution
At bigD we did the conceptual and aesthetic design of the robot, creating a functional and adaptable solution with a structure optimized to operate in confined spaces. We incorporated advanced sensors to ensure maximum safety and an intuitive interface to improve interaction with the operator. In addition, we applied ABB’s Visual Brand Language (VBL) and defined the colors, materials and finishes (CMF) to reinforce its identity and visual coherence.
