SmartBell is a research and development project carried out and promoted by the UPM (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid).  The product shown in the image is a small smart device, whose objective is to control, identify and quantify access to certain spaces. This function is closely linked to capacity control, a very recurrent issue nowadays. It is a very practical solution to control access to restricted areas in an automated way.

From bigD we designed the product enclosure, as well as the anti-theft bracket for wall mounting. The distribution of the components was reformulated to optimise the size of the device and a very intuitive visual identification method was proposed. The solution obtained achieves a good integration with any application environment.
